JACKSONVILLE, NC – Mini Stocks will be in the spotlight for their debut race in Saturday evening’s Summer Nationals at Goodyear All American Speedway.
The Accent Imaging Carolina Mini Stock Challenge will compete for 50 laps in the Summer Nationals, a race that was originally set to be held earlier this year but was postponed due to rain. Originated in 2017, the Carolina Mini Stock Challenge has brought some of the biggest names in four-cylinder races to its events over the years.
In addition to the Mini Stock feature, the Summer Nationals will also play host to racing for Super Trucks, Bombers, Champ Karts, Legends, and two unique divisions debuting at Goodyear All American Speedway.
The first race of the evening will allow select fans who pre-register for the event to race against each other in their street legal passenger vehicles. Later on in the evening, the new V8 Pure Stock class, a division that brings “stock” back to V8 racing, will debut as well.
The Summer Nationals marks the second event at the newly rebranded and reopened Goodyear All American Speedway, located off Richlands Highway in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The first event saw over 60 cars compete before an enthusiastic crowd that waited out an over hour-long rain delay to enjoy the action.
Tickets are available for the Summer Nationals at the gate on race day for $15 for adults, $12 for seniors/military/students (with ID), $5 for kids ages 6-12 while kids five and under get in free. Grandstands open at 5pm, racing begins at 7pm.
