After reviewing the finish of Saturday’s Legends feature, Spencer Bradshaw has been awarded the Legend Car victory in the Moore’s Old Tyme Barbeque All American Showdown.
Bradshaw was running in the third position when the field took the white flag. Coming to the checkered flag, the top – two cars (Landon McKenzie and Brenton Irving) were involved in an accident in turn four, drawing the caution flag which ended the race. At that moment, the field should have reverted to the last completed lap with the two cars involved put to the rear of the lead lap.
Video evidence is conclusive in showing Spencer Bradshaw as both the first place driver among those not involved in the incident coming to the white flag as well as the leader at the time of caution.
New River All American Speedway apologizes to the competitors for the delay in determining the final outcome.
