Racing America to broadcast Inaugural Hangover 150

JACKSONVILLE, NC – Race fans across the country who have been deprived of racing during the holidays will get a cure for those offseason blues on Saturday.

The Inaugural Hangover 150 presented by Atlantic Turfscapes at Goodyear All American Speedway, set to take place on Saturday afternoon, will be broadcast live on Racing America’s streaming platform which is available on all major streaming devices, including Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, Apple TV, and Android.  The event, which is headlined by Super Truck racing, was announced earlier this year as part of the track’s Winter Heat Series.

“We’ve been blessed with some great weather this winter and decided to take advantage of these warmer winters we’ve been having and go racing,” track operator Anthony Goodyear said.  “I’m really looking forward to Saturday’s appropriately-named Hangover 150 to cure some of the racing withdrawals we’ve all had the past few weeks.”

Racing America, formerly known as Speed51, broadcast the first race in the Goodyear All American Speedway era back in July as well as the Inaugural Solid Rock Carriers Battle of the Stars and a handful of other races.  The broadcast of Saturday’s race on the streaming giant continues a healthy relationship between the track and RTA Media.

“I loved getting my winter racing fix with the NASCAR Hea Series from Tucson back in the 90s and this weekend kind of reminds me of that,” Racing America director of broadcasting Alan Dietz said.  “We know Goodyear All American Speedway puts on great racing.  Throw in the trucks and other divisions and it’s a great way to kick things off on Racing America.”

The Super Truck division will headline the Hangover 150 with some intriguing storylines.  Adam Fulford, who was the most recent winner in the division, will face off against Chris Burns, who led the most laps in the Battle of the Stars, and Chase Singletary, who is making the leap from Legend cars into V8 cars in 2022.

Burns’ girlfriend, Bethany Pridgen, will be one of the drivers to watch in the Powderpuff race – driving a car Burns himself competed in earlier this month in a Bomber race, finishing in the top-three.  Danielle Webster won the first and only Powderpuff race that’s been held so far which took place during Halloween Havoc in October.

The entry list is continuing to grow for the Hangover 150 with a total of 23 cars now pre-registered to compete on Saturday afternoon.

Tickets are available at the gate on race day for $15 for adults, $12 for seniors/military/students (with ID), $5 for kids ages 6-12 while kids five (5) and under get in free.  Trackside parking and VIP suites are also available.  Grandstands will open at 12pm with racing starting at 2pm.
