JACKSONVILLE, NC – New River All-American Speedway is switching to Hoosier Racing Tires for the remainder of the 2023 season and beyond.

The change will take place beginning with the Labor Day Classic on September 2, 2023, and puts New River All-American Speedway on the same tire program as other nearby tracks in the eastern half of the Carolinas.

“We felt like we needed to make a change to the tire program,” Anthony Goodyear, operator of New River All-American Speedway, said.  “Every other track in the area runs on Hoosier tires and that’s left us as the odd track out.  We’ve done a lot of research and had a lot of discussions and felt like making this switch was the best decision moving forward.”

When the track ran under the Coastal Plains Raceway banner, the Hoosier F-45 tire was utilized for the weekly racing program.  Since July 2021, the track has run on the McCreary-branded American Racer tires.

Along with the September 2nd race, Hoosier tires will be available for practice sessions leading into the Carolina 125 presented by Milam Equipment Rentals for the Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour, as well as for the United Rentals Championship Weekend races.

The Labor Day Classic presented by Furniture4Less will feature the INEX Legends Championship Semifinal race, the Grand National Super Series, Late Model twins, plus Bandoleros, Bombers, and Champ Karts.

New River All-American Speedway is Jacksonville’s Action Attraction featuring racing and other events.  For more information about New River All-American Speedway, check out the speedway’s websitelike/follow “New River Speedway” on Facebookfollow @newriverswy on Twitter, or follow the track on Instagram.
