JACKSONVILLE, NC – Rains from Tropical Storm Colin and a forecast for widespread thunderstorms tomorrow evening has forced Goodyear All American Speedway to call off Sunday night’s Independence Bash presented by Armageddon Armory.
“We were looking forward to a great night of racing tomorrow, but looking at the forecast, the chances of rain are just too high,” track operator Anthony Goodyear said. “Some of our racers are driving three hours or more to come to the track, and we don’t want them to burn fuel just to sit in the rain, so we’ve decided to pull the plug.”
