JACKSONVILLE, NC – Saturday evening’s Prelude to the Battle has been canceled as a result of the expected Nor’easter that will impact the Coastal North Carolina region during the weekend.
The event, which had originally been scheduled for mid-October before being washed out, was set to take place at 3pm on Saturday. On Friday afternoon, after taking a look at multiple forecasts, Goodyear All American Speedway made the decision to pull the plug.
The next event at Goodyear All American Speedway will be the Solid Rock Carriers Battle of the Stars on Sunday, November 14 headlined by the $10,000-to-win Late Model Stock Car feature race. The Solid Rock Carriers Battle of the Stars will also have Bandoleros, Legends, Bombers, and U-CARs compete as the Prelims before the main event.
Already, 22 drivers have registered to compete in the Late Model Stock Car portion of the Solid Rock Carriers Battle of the Stars, with more entries expected to be filed in the coming days.
