JACKSONVILLE, NC – Goodyear All American Speedway’s Halloween Havoc has been revised with the Crown Vic Nationals and Demolition Derby portions of the event canceled due to lack of participation.
The events will be replaced by a $500-to-win Bomber Bash, and ticket prices have been lowered to $10 per person, with kids five and under admitted free.
“We really hoped to make a big event with the Crown Vic Nationals, but we only have four entries for the race with no local interest,” track operator Anthony Goodyear said. “There is also no interest in the Demolition Derby with the economy in recession and it being difficult to repair and replace vehicles. We’re still going to put on an event that weekend but have decided to change it up.”
The revisions will also move the racing program that was originally scheduled for Friday, October 28 to Saturday, October 29.
Events such as the Kid’s Bike races, Tire Stack race, Relay race, Reverse race and the Blackout race will continue. In addition to those events, Jr. Mini Cups, Champ Karts, and Mini Cups will be in action.
Following the Halloween Havoc event, Goodyear All American Speedway will begin preparations for the 2nd Annual Solid Rock Carriers Battle of the Stars, which takes place on Sunday, November 13, 2022.
