JACKSONVILLE, NC – Goodyear All American Speedway will be running the Inaugural $5,000-to-win Crown Vic Nationals on Saturday, October 29 as part Halloween Havoc II.
Halloween Havoc II, which is the second night of destruction event at Goodyear All American Speedway, will also host a variety of other on track events leading up to a demolition derby as the nightcap. The $5,000-to-win, $750-to-start Crown Vic Nationals race will be one of the main events of the night and has already drawn interest from drivers in Florida and Indiana, among other states.
“A lot of tracks in Florida and in the Midwest run Crown Vic races and it draws a lot of interest, so I thought we should give it a try,” track operator Anthony Goodyear said. “The Night of Destruction is a perfect night to run this race. We’re hoping to have a lot of cars for this and hoping to put on a show.”
Practice, qualifying and heat races will take place on Friday, October 28 which will set the field for Saturday’s 100-lap race. Additional festivities will be added to the Friday night portion of Halloween Havoc II as well.
