JACKSONVILLE, NC – Casey Kelley pulled out the broom in Saturday’s Atlantic Turfscapes Super Truck Series championship double feature at Goodyear All American Speedway while his brother, Cody, won the series championship.

Kelley, who had never raced in a Super Truck prior to Saturday, took the lead midway through the first of two Super Truck features and pulled away to score the victory.  After starting on the pole in the second race, Kelley led every single lap to pick up his second win.

“This is awesome,” Casey Kelley said in victory lane.  “I can’t believe the truck was that fast.  And me being able to drive this track first time here, it’s unbelievable honestly.  I didn’t think we’d end up here.  I’m glad my brother got the championship.  That’s what we came here to do and I’m very happy for him.”

Cody Kelley’s third place finish in the first race was enough for him to clinch the championship.

“We did pretty good tonight,” Cody Kelley said.  “Casey’s truck was strong.  He was super fast.  He did really good.  We did what we wanted to do tonight.  We got here, ran well, didn’t tear anything up, got the championship.  We’ve been after this thing all year.  That was our goal all year.  I can’t thank everyone enough.”

Clint King finished second in the first race, while Jacob Lewis held off Jody Measamer to finish in the runner-up spot in the second feature.

Brothers John and Lee Ottaway put on a show in a Champ Kart thriller.  The pair pulled away from the field, setting up a battle for the win amongst themselves.  Lee attempted to execute the slingshot move on the last lap, drawing even with his brother, but it was John Ottaway who scored the victory in a photofinish.

“It all goes into the same pot,” John Ottaway commented.  “We’re a team.  We’re brothers.  This is our dream to be racing back in the early 90s and getting back together.  We’ve had a lot of fun in the past year-and-a-half or so.  Looking forward to many more races here.”

The final margin of victory was .006.

Sammy Pacitti picked up his second consecutive Bomber win over Andrew Jackson and Kevin Wrenn.  A non-winners Bomber feature was held later in the evening, which was won by James Seagroves driving Pacitti’s car.

Other winners: Delaney Gray (Bandolero), Adam Mattice (Jr. Mini Cup), Charlie Beals (Legends), and Joseph Bryant (Sr. Mini Cup).
