JACKSONVILLE, N.C. – Brian Gooden scored his first career win in the second of two Bomber feature races at Goodyear All American Speedway on Saturday night while Michael O’Brien and Curtis Lanier continued their winning ways in the Charger and U-CAR divisions respectively.

Gooden used to work at the track when it ran under the Coastal Plains Raceway banner.  Earlier this year, he began racing in the Bomber division, scoring multiple podium finishes on the season.  All his hard work and dedication paid off in the second Bomber twin on Saturday as he led every lap en route to victory.

“It’s an awesome feeling man,” Gooden said in victory lane.  “I can’t tell everyone how much I appreciate what they’ve done for me, helped me out, taught me a lot.  I love coming out here and racing with them.  There’s no better feeling.  I was pretty much in tears the past couple laps.  I was having fun.”

The first of the two Bomber races was won by Duane Walker.  Walker held off a late charge by Eddie Humphrey to cruise to his second consecutive division win.

“All my friends out here, that’s why I come out here,” Walker stated.  “It’s not for this flag, it’s for all my friends.  We come out here to have a good time.  It’s not for the money, it’s not for the fame, we’re not going NASCAR.  I come because we have all our friends out here.”

Michael O’Brien once again dominated in the Charger division, scoring his third consecutive victory over Gator Williams and Tyler Chapman.  Kevin Benton, who had kept pace with O’Brien earlier in the race, was sidelined with mechanical issues midway through the race.

Curtis Lanier inherited the U-CAR victory after Joe Lanier and Dustin Jolly were disqualified following post-race technical inspection.  The win is the younger Lanier’s third of the season in the U-CAR division.

D.J. Murphy scored his second career win by leading wire-to-wire in Legends competition.  Carsyn Gillikin scored a career-best second-place finish while Mike Ridenour came home third.
