QUALIFYING PROCEDURE

Time trial qualifying (Dead lap, two timed laps)

PROVISIONALS (IF NECESSARY)
Drivers with guaranteed spots, who do not make the field on time, would join tail end of field.
Guaranteed spots to:
- 2022 New River All-American Speedway track champion.
- Winner of most Late Model races at New River All-American in 2022 (if different from track champion).
- 2021 Battle of the Stars race winner.
- Winner of the 2022 Orange Blossom Shootout.
Race Format
200 GREEN FLAG laps, split into three stages.
Stage 1 – 75 laps; Stage 2 – 75 laps; Final Stage – 50 laps
At the start of the race, a coin flip will determine whether the invert (of up to 12 cars) will take place at the end of the first stage or the second stage.
At the conclusion of the stage where the invert will take place, the leader will roll a dice. No more than 12 cars will be inverted.
Stage breaks will be 10 minutes in length. Break will begin once everyone is parked on pit road.
TIRES: 10 tires (4 practice tires, 4 tires to start, 2 tires)
Pit stops: Teams may pit for fuel OR tires at either stage break but cannot do both on the same stop. Teams can make minor adjustments and move tires, but no hard parts can be changed.
RESTARTS: Cone rule for all restarts. CAUTION LAPS will not count. Flagman starts the race, leader restarts the race in restart zone.
Up to three attempts at an overtime finish, if necessary.
Entry Regulations
NON-REFUNDABLE ENTRY DEPOSIT: $180 per car, goes toward the entry fee.
ENTRY FEE: $1,800 per car (before Monday, February 27, 2023); $2,000 per car (after Feb. 27)
Entry fee includes:
- Ten (10) McCreary tires.
- 20 gallons of VP Racing Fuel.
- Transponder fee.
- Two (2) pit passes.
