JACKSONVILLE, NC – After a cold January, Goodyear All American Speedway is revving up once again with back-to-back races in February to close out the Winter Heat Series before a busy regular season begins in March.

Saturday, February 12, will see the Charger division return to action at Goodyear All American Speedway for the first time since August 2021.  Last time the class competed, former Southern National Motorsports Park champion Michael O’Brien scored the victory over James Stroud and Kevin Benton.

In addition to the Chargers, Saturday’s race features Bandoleros, Bombers, Champ Karts, Legends, and U-CARs.  The Bomber class, which is designed to be an affordable division, has grown throughout the Winter Heat Series with another impressive field expected on Saturday.

Once the checkered flag waves on Saturday’s race, Goodyear All American Speedway will begin preparations for the Winter Heat Series finale on Saturday, February 19.  Late Models, Street Stocks, U-CARs, Bombers, Legends, and Bandoleros will all be in action that afternoon along with the return of the Goodyears’ Original Street Legal Spectator Drag Races.

Champions will be crowned in the Bomber, U-CAR, Legends and Bandolero classes.  Travis Miller has already clinched the Winter Heat Mini Stock championship.  Phoenyx Kimball, who is undefeated at Goodyear All American Speedway, leads in Bandolero standings, while Curtis Lanier leads in U-CAR points, Justin Breshears in Bombers, and Chase Singletary in Legends.

The races on February 12 and 19 will start at 2pm with tickets available at the gate on race day for $15 for adults, $12 for seniors/military/students (with ID), $5 for kids ages 6-12 and kids five (5) and under free.  Additionally, the conclusion of the Winter Heat Series will be broadcast live on Racing America.

Once the Winter Heat Series concludes in February, Goodyear All American Speedway will shift its focus to the regular season which begins on Saturday, March 5, 2022.  Races will also take place at Goodyear All American Speedway on March 12 and March 26 leading into a busy April which is headlined by the Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour on April 23.
