JACKSONVILLE, NC – New River All-American Speedway is turning up the heat in July with Summer Speedweeks, which consists of four races over a span of two weeks.
Summer Speedweeks begins on Saturday, July 1, with the Independence Bash, headlined by twin races for Chargers, Legends, and Bandoleros. The Independence Bash leads into a $3,000-to-win, 100-lap Limited Late Model race on Monday night, July 3. Both races will also feature the always exhilarating Swansboro Liquidation Bombers and the Champ Karts.
“We’re looking forward to racing on a Monday night,” New River All-American Speedway owner Anthony Goodyear said. “With it being Independence Day Weekend, we’re hopeful that we can have a good field of Limited Late Models race for $3,000 and put on a great show.”
After the Monday Mayhem event, New River All-American Speedway will turn right around on Saturday, July 8 and host the New River Rumble, headlined by the B-52 Bomber Car Battle, which was originally scheduled for May before being postponed due to rain. The B-52 Bomber Car Battle is one of the biggest nights of the year for area Bomber drivers, with the race paying $520-to-win.
One week later, on Saturday, July 15, the Summer Classic will come to New River All-American Speedway, headlined by a $500-to-win Champ Kart showdown as well as Super Trucks, Bombers, Legends, Bandoleros, Chargers, and U-CARs.
“We’ve been wanting to do big races for each of our classes, and the Champ Kart class has been a strong, loyal division for us,” Goodyear said. “These guys always put on a good show so we definitely wanted to do something for them as part of Summer Speedweeks.”
The Bomber and Champ Kart divisions, which compete every race as part of the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series at New River All-American Speedway, have multiple drivers contending for both National and Southeast Regional championships.
After Summer Speedweeks winds down, New River All-American Speedway will take a week off before the USAC Eastern Midgets and Southern Ground Pounders invade on Saturday, July 29.
The month of September will feature a similarly busy schedule as the Race for the Championship begins. Just about every division will have their Semifinal race and Championship Finals in September while the Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour will make its second visit to 4/10-mile track in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
New River All-American Speedway will be in action on Saturday, June 17, 2023 with the School’s Out Shootout, which has twin races for six divisions – 12 feature races in total, with tickets remaining just $10 for adults with kids five (5) and under admitted free.
