Speedway participating in Onslow County Fair

JACKSONVILLE, NC – Goodyear All American Speedway will be supporting and participating in the 66th Annual Onslow County Agricultural Fair from Tuesday, October 11 through Saturday, October 15.

The track will have a display set up near the entrance of the fair where attendees can learn about Goodyear All American Speedway and check out some of the cars that compete at the 4/10-mile track.  Additionally, Goodyear All American Speedway will have giveaways from area marketing partners, including The Angry Ginger Irish Pub, United Rentals of Jacksonville, Solid Rock Carriers, and Furniture 4 Less.

“Over the past year, we’ve focused on being part of the Onslow County community and being a part of the county fair is exciting for all of us at the speedway,” Goodyear All American Speedway media and marketing director Andy Marquis said.  “I’ve always enjoyed the county fairs when I was growing up in Maryland, and I hope bringing some of the cars and drivers enhances the experience for people of all ages attending the fair next week.”

Several drivers will bring their cars out on display during the week and will sign autographs and answer questions.  The list of drivers participating includes 2022 track champions Eddie Humphrey (Hubert), Travis Miller (Jacksonville), Curtis Lanier (Beulaville), D.J. “Mad Dawg” Murphy (Richlands), and Dylan Newsome (Goldsboro), as well as Aiden McConnaughey (Jacksonville), Trace Raynor (Jacksonville), and Carsyn Gillikin (Morehead City), among others.

“So many of the drivers who have agreed to participate in this with us are from Onslow County or surrounding areas and it’s great to have drivers who want to give up their evenings to do this,” Marquis continued.  “The Goodyear All American Speedway racing family is the best, and we all love being a part of the community.  This is who we are.”

The Onslow County Agricultural Fair takes place at the Onslow County Fairgrounds at 146 Broadhurst Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
